On July 11, 2009, two senior project engineers crossed paths at an electronics factory in Dongguan city, Guangdong, China. By chance, they were seated together at lunch—and what started as a casual conversation quickly revealed a shared obsession: product engineering. That evening, instead of heading back to their respective companies, they continued their discussion and realized that the common administrative approach in the third-party inspection industry often neglected the technical substance required for true quality control. That night, China Quality Service (CNQ) was formed.
